#whatnow

Alley Theatre presents:

#whatnow
July 18 - 27, 2019
ANNEX, 823 Seymour St, Vancouver, BC

Developed by the company that brought you The Ridiculous Darkness, Three Stories Up: Theatre in the Dark, and Mrs.Warren’s Profession, #whatnow is a workshop production of a multi-perspectival documentary theatre and dance creation in response to the #metoo movement. After collecting hours of audio interviews from all over Vancouver, real life stories and feelings come to life through the mediums of headphone verbatim theatre and movement.

After #metoo, what now?
A question for everyone.

Ticket prices (including all taxes and fees):
Regular: $12
Pay What You Can performance (July 18): $10 online / PWYC at the door

Running approximately 60 minutes, each workshop presentation will be followed by a professionally facilitated post-performance engagement. $2 from every ticket will be donated to our community partner Good Night Out Vancouver.  Emotional support for audience and artists provided by Monica Nijjar and Angela Caruk.

Produced by Alley Theatre in community partnership with Good Night Out Vancouver and created by Marisa Emma Smith, Amber Funk Barton, Malcolm Dow, Patrick Dodd, Siobhan Sloane-Seale, Yvonne Wallace, and Jessica Mary Keenan, with mentorship from Sahar Assaf, Tim Carlson and Mindy Parfitt.
